Famous people who studied at Myongji


Myongji University has among its alumni, few celebrities. Here are the profiles of some of them that you might already know:



Park JiSung:

Born on the 25 February of 1981, Park Ji Sung (박지성) is the former captain of the Korea National team of soccer. He participated in the 2002 World Cup but Korea was unfortunately eliminated against Germany during the semi-final. Before becoming an international player, he played in the Myongji soccer team.









Lee DongHae:

Born on the 15th October of 1986, Lee Dong Hae(이동해) is one the main singers of the Kpop group Super Junior(슈퍼주니어) .They made their debut the 6 November 2005. DongHae is actually doing his military service since the 15 October 2015 for a period of one year and nine months.






Kim JongHyun:

Born on the 8th April of 1990, Kim Jong Hyun(김종현) is one the main singers of the Kpop SHINee(샤이니) created by SM Entertainment. They made their debut on the 25th May of 2008.









Yoon Bora(윤보라) was born on the 30th January of 1990. She is the main rapper of the group Sistar(씨스타) which made its debut the 3th June 2010. She was in the music department at Myongji University.






Jung YunHo(정윤호) was born on the 6th February of 1986. He is the main singer of TVXQ also known as DBSK (동방신기) who made their debut in 2003 with 5 members. However 3 of them left the group in 2009. He is also a dancer and an actor.









Park Bo Gum:

Born on the 16th June of 1993, Park Bo Gum(박보검) is a Korean actor who made his debuts with the movie Blind in 2011. However it is his recent dramas which made him famous, such as Monster (2015) and Reply 1988 (2015). He
studied in Yongin campus.
